                                                                  Ultreya Report from Leading Tickles

On Saturday July 19th, 2014, our Ultreya for the month was held in Leading Tickles, at St. Nicholas Church. There were thirty six Cursillistas and two guests present.

It was a beautiful day for traveling ,as we awaited the opening of our church service, we enjoyed a coffee or tea, muffins, buns, cheese and sweet bread, and greeting old and new friends. Rev. Larry Chapman

officiated at the Holy Eucharist, assisted by Don Brett. Bruce Regular supplied the music for the service.

After the service Rev. Chuck Lockhart asked the blessing for the food. We then had our bag lunch and some great fellowship. After lunch our fill in Lay Director, Ruby Lockhart, opened the Ultreya with a prayer. We then sang more Songs of Praise, then we broke into small groups, and shared some of our Spiritual Moments, in our walk of faith. Next Ruby introduced our witness speaker Gloria Noseworthy , Rev. Larry said a prayer of blessing for her.

Gloria spoke off everything that God has done for her. Margaret Alcock was the echo speaker. Our Spiritual Director Rev. Larry Chatman responded by putting Gloria’s talk in a Biblical Context and ended with a prayer.

Our fill in Lay Director Ruby didn’t have any information on upcoming events except the time and place of the next Ultreya which will be at Buchans on Aug. 16th. Our Communications Director, Winston Ellsworth reported that he had no info on the Ultreyas or any function for the months of Sept. or Oct. but the Ultreya for November would be held in Port Rexton . Our Ultreya closed with a prayer at 2:15 PM.

Our thanks to the Cursillistas in Leading Tickles for hosting our July Ultreya.

We were a smaller than usual group but we had a wonderful day of praying, singing sharing, love and laughter.

Our thanks to Gloria for being our witness speaker and for compiling the report for the Fourth Day Flyer and for the news page for our website.

May God bless each of you with continued joy of spirit!

We sing

our praises

to the Lord!
