This was our first Co-Ed weekend and also the first one held outside St. Martin's Hall, Gander. It was quite an experience to fit 45 people into a house built to accommodate perhaps 20 at the most. Well with a push and a shove and a lot of co-operation from everyone, we did it. At the closing it seemed as though the walls would expand. We welcomed 18 new babe chicks to the movement and started a new trend to co-ed weekends in the future BABE CHICKS

WEEKEND #14 CO-EDApril 21 - 24, 1994 Held at: Holy Trinity Parish Hall in Grand Falls - Windsor Weekend theme and song: "To God Be The Glory"
The weekend started off with 27 women and 8 men as candidates, plus a full
team however there was a last minute change on team when Bishop Eddie, was
called away due to an untimely death of a parish priest. An emergency
call went out to Bishop Mark Genge who jumped right in and finished the weekend
for Bishop Eddie. It wasn't long before we found out that Bishop Mark
hadn't lost his touch. Those of you who know him realized that this means
more that speaking and reflecting!! HA!! BABE CHICKS
WEEKEND #15 CO-EDSeptember 2 - 5, 1994 Held at: St. Martin's Parish Hall in Gander Weekend theme and song: "On Holy Ground"
This weekend saw us again return to St Martins Hall in Gander, where so many of our previous weekends have been held, and it was nice to be back home again. It was also great to have our past Lay Directors Hazen and June back as the Rectors for this weekend. They had taken a break as Rectors since weekends 9 and 10 in the fall of 1989. It was also their first co-ed weekend as rectors. It was another big weekend for Cursillo as we welcomed 17 ladies and 8 men into our movement. It was also one of the larger Closuras with some 150 in attendance. BABE CHICKS
